1.10 Friday Faves – The Fitnessista

I’m sharing this week’s Friday Favorites roundup and praying for all my friends affected by the California fires. If you are looking for ways to help, look at this link.

Hello friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? I hope it was great. It was the kids’ first week back at school, and although waking up was difficult, we were all officially back into the routine. We also had a random cold snap and it went from 70 degrees to 30! STRAW.

(Roses have been blooming like crazy with the warmer weather)

The highlight of the week was Liv turning 13 years old. I can’t even believe it. They say time flies and it’s true. She has always been an introspective, kind and bright star, and it has been wonderful to watch her grow. She does the BEST impressions, she is sarcastic and funny, with the sweetest and kindest heart.

We had a family dinner to celebrate and everyone came, and instead of a big party, she asked for a trip, so we’re doing that next week!

A giant cheese board for the holidays:

and my baby’s fever is out of control, but the Pilot says we’re done lol.

(Our little niece, Daisy!)

Some adventures lately:

Indian food festival with saffron

A hike through Sabino Canyon

and trip to the desert museum with friends.

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and from around the web. I also love hearing about your favorites, so shout out something you like in the comments section below.

1.10 Friday Favorites

Fashion + beauty + random:

Another moment of silence for these jeans. They were super affordable, great quality, and true to size.

Many of you have purchased this perfect sweater dress! I love it.

This body lotion It is the holy grail. Liv *borrowed* mine, so I ordered another one.

This sweater is cute for Valentine’s Day.. I’m also exploring This.

Read, watch, listen:

I’m reading this book right now and I’m 100% absorbed.

Three easy weekday lunches.

Fitness, health, life and good nutrition:

I wore a CGM for the last few weeks and it has been good to control my blood sugar. It’s been a little high lately so I’ve been trying to improve it and will call a Nutrisense nutritionist next week to see if he has any ideas. This can be an amazing and empowering tool! If you are interested in using a CGM (or scheduling a call to a nutritionist, these are often covered by insurance) use this link and the GINA50 code.

This lasagna soup looks amazing.

The January Detox starts this Monday but you can join the fun at any time. My code is FITNESSISTA10 if you want to join.

*I’m working on a new show launching in February and I can’t wait to share it with you! To get first dibs, make sure you’re on my newsletter list.

Thank you very much for stopping by the blog today! Have an amazing weekend and see you soon!

xoxo
