Dr. Alice Honican He is a Doctor of Naturopathy, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist and Bioenergetic Practitioner in Longevity Health Center in Roswell, Georgia.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia, Dr. Honican continued her studies to earn her Master of Arts in Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. She is Nationally Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology and is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. She also earned her Doctorate in Traditional Naturopathy and completed her dissertation on Chronic Lyme Disease.
As the daughter of a naturopath-acupuncturist, Dr. Honican was raised in a home that embraced a natural perspective on health care. Her father, Dr. Seneca Anderson, treated chronic fatigue syndrome and Epstein-Barr virus in the 1980s. He was one of the first holistic practitioners knowledgeable about Lyme disease in the state of Georgia, as well as the country, and ran a thriving practice for over 45 years. Dr. Honican trained under her father and has now been practicing for 20 years, treating hundreds of patients with tick-borne infections and other acute and chronic illnesses.
Today, Dr. Honican has taken over as the practice’s owner and lead physician. In addition to her qualifications, her excellent listening skills and compassion for others make her even more qualified to fulfill her calling. She has her own unique, multifaceted approach to treating Lyme disease, using a combination of customized homeopathic detox remedies, herbs, and supportive detox therapies.
