Inclusive data and the future
The webinar provided an opportunity to understand how Sightsavers’ strategic objectives on inclusive data are being put into practice across our implementation, evidence and influence work. However, there is still a long way to go to ensure that inclusive and disaggregated data becomes standard practice across national statistical systems and for governments to use this data to improve decision-making and policy.
As we move forward with the implementation of the Sightsavers 2024-27 IDC Action Plan, we will continue to collaborate with partners to ensure that inclusive data drives better outcomes for people with disabilities and the communities we work with. Summit of the Future As we focus on how we can deliver a better future for all, strengthening the collection, analysis and use of inclusive data is key to ensuring inclusion is at the heart of those efforts.
We encourage other organizations to join global efforts to prioritize and accelerate action on inclusive data, to contribute to achieving more equitable outcomes for all.
