Hello friends! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? The kids are on vacation at the rodeo (it’s typical Arizona!) so we’re enjoying sleeping in, fun adventures, and no homework (bless him). I’d love to know what you’re going through!
I am on day 5 of the CBO protocol and moving forward. It has been very difficult to live without garlic and onion, but I have been preparing many amazing meals packed with vegetables and protein, in addition to the supplements. I will share my healing journey in an upcoming post; If you have any questions you’d like me to answer, leave them in the comments!
It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share my favorite finds from the week and from around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so shout out something you like in the comments section below.
Friday Favorites 2.23
Random/life:
A little getaway to San Diego. The pilot and I spent just over 24 hours at one of our favorite places for our good friend Jeremy’s 50th birthday. We have been friends with Betsy and Jeremy since Liv was in preschool and they have become like family. We have traveled everywhere with them and often meet in various locations. We flew to San Diego on Saturday morning.
and went straight to Liberty Station. We shopped, walked, and had an amazing lunch at Tender Greens. We hung out at the hotel and then got ready for the party!
(While we were getting ready, we watched the John Mulaney special on Netflix. It was a great pleasure to watch TV together during the day.)
The party was amazing, as expected. Betsy always has the best decor and amazing variety. Chef Ron and his team were in the kitchen preparing all the food and had a bartender on the patio preparing signature cocktails and drinks.
the dress is here // shoes here // RTR bag
(I did a survey on IG to see if the pilot should shave his mustache. Over 300 people said YES, while around 16 said I should keep it. Those 16 people were enough to tell him to stay like this haha)
It was a super fun late night, and I somehow got my butt out of bed for a Lagree Sunday class at Define.
If you’re in San Diego, take a class with Carina! We used to teach barre together when we lived in SD and she is super fun and motivating. I love seeing her face and visiting her gorgeous studio every time we are in town!
We had breakfast at Liberty Station (we didn’t leave Point Loma the entire time) and then headed to the airport to return to the crew. It’s amazing how just one night can make you feel like a human being again and renewed.

I just started this and it’s already living up to the hype.
Don’t forget to check out this week’s podcast with Angie Lee!
How admitting your weakness can make you stronger.
Fashion + beauty:
SUPER exciting beauty counter release next week. I haven’t posted as much on Beautycounter lately because I’m not as excited about new products. I’ve been waiting for this to come for years and it’s going to be GOOD.
This week feels like spring, so of course I have my eye on some spring finds. I haven’t been that into the RTR selection lately, so I’ll probably take a break for a while and actually buy 😉
Here are some of the things I have my eye on:
This dress with sandals or dressy for date nights
This swimsuit with square neck
Fitness, health and good nutrition:
New rebounder! I have wanted one for a long time to help support my lymphatic system and I found this cheap one on Amazon.. It was very easy to set up and it’s fun to play music and jump around for 5-10 minutes. Unsurprisingly, it’s also a big hit with kids.
You have to try the best gluten-free brownies.
I appreciate this bit of science. especially because women tend to be the most harmed in these things.
Happy friday friends!
hugs and kisses
