STERILE GAUZE PADS: Our calcium alginate wound dressing absorbs wound exudates and forms a gel-like covering over the wound. It works to maintain a moist wound healing environment to help stop the bleeding and accelerate the healing process.
HOME & PROFESSIONAL USE: Our clotting gauze dressings are suitable for use in the office and at home. They are excellent for treating trauma or surgical wounds and venous, arterial, and pressure ulcers. Treat leg ulcers, abrasions, lacerations, and superficial burns at home.
HOW TO USE: After debridement and cleaning the wound, choose the proper size of dressing. Apply it directly to the wound. Secure the calcium alginate pad with a secondary dressing. If the wound appears dry, saturate the bandage with sterile saline solution before removal.
VERSATILE & PAIN-FREE: Each gauze bandage can be cut into pieces or strips to fit smaller wounds to pack a wound better. This wound dressing was made to provide comfort to individuals with fragile and sensitive skin.
