Breathable, waterproof outer layer to maintain a optimal moist wound environment for faster healing. Silicone is gentle but not strong adhesive which is best for fragile & tender skin. But you may need extra tape or compression bandage if you do daily activity. It’s waterproof but not showerproof. Do not take a bath, go into pool or hot tub with this dressing
