Show Yourself Some Love with this Heart-Centered Yoga Practice

Valentine’s Day and a heart that opens yoga class goes together like flowers and chocolates. Your yoga professor will generally sequence a Valentine’s class (or Galentine) with many back bending positions to stretch the chest and strongly activate the heart.

While backbends are pleasant, especially for someone flexible, in my humble opinion, these typical practices fall short because they do not recognize the heart as three -dimensional.

This 20 -minute yoga practice I have gathered for you is designed to release tension and create a sense of amplitude around the heart with movements that gently stretch all sides of the torso for the opening of the heart of 360 degrees!

Do you feel tense on your chest, ribs and the upper back? This practice is just what you need. Do you want a rest of the average yoga class of heart theme to open your entire heart? I have you.
