I share a short summary of the year and what I am working towards in 2025.
Hello friends! Happy new year! Any plans for tonight? We’re eating Indian food and setting off fireworks in our pajamas. There are no crazy plans and I’m very happy hahaha. I’m excited to end the night early and head out for a family hike in the morning!
It’s funny because I thought the last year of the pilot’s military career would be the LONGEST year of my life. I thought it would be a painfully slow walk to the finish line. The reality is that this year flew by. I can’t believe he’s wrapping things up, he’s changed commands and we’re getting ready for his retirement ceremony at the end of the month. There are many huge changes ahead.
This year was a year of glorious travel, fun times with the kids (who are growing up too fast. Liv turns 13 next week!!!), time with friends, events, family time at home, time on the nature and A great year for my healing journey. Last year I celebrated a year free of symptoms of eye problems and autoimmune symptoms and I feel so grateful to have had a year where I really got my groove on and felt absolutely better than I have in years (decades???). I created a free ebook here about my autoimmune journey. And things that helped me if you want to check it out!

Professional summary:
From a Integrative Health Practitioner From our point of view, this was a year full of learning, expansion and customer success. It was amazing to see their victories and I reviewed over 100 lab tests this year! I was a winner of the 100 day challenge for EquiLife in October (#7! Wow!) and a Winner of the Top Five IHP Champion last spring. I was also invited to be part of the Centurion program and a three-month training with 15 other IHPs and EquiLife faculty to take our lab analysis to the next level. From there, I was able to begin reading labs for EquiLife clients in addition to my own.
I feel so blessed every day to be a part of this company with an incredible mission and the inspiring people behind it. I can’t wait to see what PHI has booked for next year!!
I feel superstitious saying this, but the blog had the best year of ad revenue it has had in at least 5 years. My SEO team has been working hard behind the scenes and we are really starting to see the results of their efforts. My goal is still to post fun, personal posts here (the kind I’d love to read), as well as helpful, SEO-oriented content, because that’s what brings new readers to the blog.
The podcast continued to do well, but one of my goals is to put more energy into the group, release more episodes, and grow in the new year. Another goal is to publish more on LTK.because I love sharing outfits and gift ideas.
As for sponsorship, this year I worked with a company that I admire and love: NOW Food. I am very grateful for your continued collaboration and to continue working together in 2025. I receive sponsorship offers every day, but I reject almost all of them because they are for companies and products that do not align with my values or sell Products that I do not use or care for. they like. I will never promote a company on the blog that I don’t love and support 100%.
I am also grateful to affiliate partners, including Nutrisense, Equivida, PHI, Sakara, Higher DOSE, Coffee Danger, organize, a skin, butcherbox, Aviron, Pavilion, somavedic, air doctor, vivarays, Pvolveand to all of you who buy through my links. You directly support our family (and help keep this little blog up and running) and I really appreciate it. I also started working with olive and wave of life this year; Two companies that I am very excited about!
This month was the last month of Fit Team workouts because we are designing my new signature program. It’s a 6-month program that includes functional lab testing, supplements and protocols, and personalized recommendations to help you feel your absolute best. It is basically the culmination of everything I have learned, used with my own clients and also with myself to dramatically transform our health and energy levels. I can’t wait to share with you in early February!
Personal and health goals:
My health goal is to continue working on the habits that make me feel better, such as quarterly detoxes, smart supplements, restorative practices, improving nutrition, walking, exercise (I like a combination of strength training, barre, spinning, Pilates and hot yoga) and stress management. My goal is to minimize toxins where I can, replenish deficiencies, and continue to use functional lab testing as an incredible tool. I am proud of myself for taking charge of my health and getting to the root of what I was experiencing, and also for the ability to Share everything I’ve learned along the way.
Keep practicing Spanish! This year, I started working with an Italki tutor. to brush up on my skills and since we are returning to Spain this year, I would love to be more confident with Spanish. (I studied Spanish as a major and can understand it perfectly, but I’m not 100% sure I speak it.)
Return to Bible study. after dropping out in the spring. I had just started working with EquiLife clients and was very excited to make as many calls as possible! Now that I know how to use the platform a little better and can set aside time for Bible study, I would like to make it a priority again.
Continue to be the best mother, wife and friend I can be. I want the people in my life to know how much I love them and to lead with a grateful, patient, and loving heart each day. Some days are harder than others lol, but a gratitude journal in the morning really impacts how I feel for the rest of the day.
I’d love to hear about your year and your goals! What are you proud of from last year? What are you working on now? Do you have any health goals? Travel plans? I want to hear it all!
Have a lovely happy New Year and see you soon!
xoxo
