It’s Election Day here in the United States. And no matter your political views, there’s one universal truth we can all agree on: we’re stressed and tense. Between Doomscrolling on our cell phones and the daily grind, it’s like we’ve been carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders. And we have stiff necks and tension headaches to prove it.
Now, more than ever, it is essential that we find small pockets of time and simple ways to relax so that we do not carry all the tension and stress in every interaction and experience of our lives.
In other words, now is the time to double down on your self-care, not throw it out the window. The world is overwhelming, so make sure you step away from it once in a while to take care of yourself.
Today, we’d like to help lighten your load, so we’ll keep it short and sweet. First, make sure you go vote (it’s important). Second, show this short video and untangle rock-sized knots in your neck and shoulders with these two easy moves designed to offer relief from neck tension, soothe tight and sore muscles, and hopefully provide some relief from your election hangover.
