In today’s post we’re going to talk about one of my favorite lunch options: a salad!

They’re an easy and delicious way to load up on veggies and can be customized to fit any flavor profile you’re craving. But let’s face it: the magic of a salad often lies in the dressing. Turmeric salad dressing is one of my favorite options because it’s not only tasty, but it’s also packed with health benefits. Combined with other nutritious ingredients like apple cider vinegar and olive oil, this dressing is as nutritious as it is tasty. 9 Turmeric Salad Dressing Recipes You Need to Try

One of the things I love about turmeric salad dressing is how versatile it is. There are so many different ways to prepare it, each with a unique twist of flavor. Whether you like something spicy, creamy, or a little sweet, there’s a turmeric salad dressing recipe for you. Plus, these dressings pair well with a variety of salad ingredients, from leafy greens to roasted vegetables to grains. Here are nine turmeric salad dressing recipes that will spice up your salad routine and make your meals even more interesting.

1. Classic Turmeric Vinaigrette

Ingredients

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup

Instructions

Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and ground turmeric until well combined.

Step 2: Add black pepper, sea salt and honey or maple syrup. Blend again until smooth.

Step 3: Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. For a thinner consistency, add a splash of water or more vinegar.

2. Creamy Tahini and Turmeric Dressing

Ingredients

1/4 cup tahini

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 cup water

*Honey or maple syrup as needed

Instructions

Step 1: In a blender or food processor, combine the tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, and ground turmeric.

Step 2: Add garlic powder and 1/4 cup water. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add a little honey or maple syrup as needed for flavor.

Step 3: Adjust the consistency by adding more water, one tablespoon at a time, if needed.

Step 4: Drizzle over salads or use as a dip for veggies!

3. Mustard and turmeric dressing

Ingredients

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1/3 cup olive oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

*Honey or maple syrup as needed

Instructions

Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar. Add honey or maple syrup and adjust to taste.

Step 2: Stir in ground turmeric, black pepper, and sea salt until fully combined.

Ingredients

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons of rice vinegar

1/2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Step 1: Combine olive oil, grated ginger, ground turmeric, and rice vinegar in a small bowl.

Step 2: Stir in honey or maple syrup and sea salt.

Step 3: Taste and adjust flavors as needed. Pour over your favorite salad mix.

Ingredients

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Honey as needed

Instructions

Step 1: Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, ground turmeric and cayenne pepper.

Step 2: Season with sea salt to taste and add a little honey if necessary.

Step 3: For a spicier kick, add more cayenne pepper. Sprinkle it over salads for a more intense burst of flavor.

6. Miso and turmeric dressing

Ingredients

1 tablespoon white miso paste

1/4 cup olive oil

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Honey or maple syrup as needed

Instructions

Step 1: In a bowl, mix the miso paste, olive oil and rice vinegar until smooth.

Step 2: Add the ground turmeric and black pepper.

1 ripe avocado

1/4 cup olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 cup water

Honey or maple syrup as needed

Instructions

Step 1: In a blender, combine the avocado, olive oil, lemon juice and ground turmeric.

Step 2: Blend until creamy. Add water, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

Ingredients

1/4 cup coconut milk

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon sea salt
