United Spinal Association announced it will stop publishing New Mobility’s bi-monthly print magazine and its exciting digital edition after the November/December 2024 issue, but we assure you this is not the end of New Mobility. Marriott agrees to improve its accessible room reservation system

Booking an accessible room at a Marriott hotel is about to get easier. Under a settlement with the Department of Justice, Marriott will make several improvements to its accessible room reservation system, including how it lists accessible rooms, keeps track of accessible room inventory, and trains employees to handle accessible room requests.

Yelp Improves Its Accessible Search Options

Yelp is adding eight new search filters to help you find businesses with accessibility features that meet your needs. The new categories accommodate a variety of disabilities and include accessible parking, ADA-compliant bathrooms, step-free entrances, Braille menus, sign language-proficient staff, and more.
