Kalogon introduced the Orbiter in late 2022 as a smart wheelchair cushion that can be adjusted via an app. Their newly launched Orbiter Med takes the smart features of the original cushion and adds a variety of postural support options.
Each Orbiter Med cushion is fully customized to meet your individual seating and postural support needs. Customization options include medial and lateral thigh supports, pelvic supports, and a pre-ischial ridge. The Orbiter Med is appropriate for people with pelvic obliquities, scoliosis and leg length discrepancies, as well as amputees.
Like the original Kalogon cushion, the Orbiter Med features Kalogon’s air management system, which uses machine learning and air cell technology to redistribute weight and reduce pressure on sensitive areas. With the Kalogon app, you can manage pressure levels and make adjustments for different activities.
