University Health (San Antonio) began construction of a new hospital adjacent to Texas A&M University, in Palo Alto, Texas.
Located on 68 acres, the five-story acute care hospital will include 166 inpatient beds, with the capacity to expand to 286 beds.
University Health Palo Alto Hospital will also house a 24/7 emergency department (ED), labor and delivery unit, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), operating rooms (OR), and emergency services. radiology and laboratory.
An adjacent medical office building (MOB) is also planned.
