Health care between mountains (Salt Lake City) opened an outpatient surgery center and recovery hotel in Murray, Utah.
The 50,000-square-foot project, which is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, houses eight orthopedic operating rooms (ORs) and a 16-room recovery hotel for post-operative care.
E4H Environments for Healthcare Architecture (Salt Lake City) provided planning, architectural and interior design services on the project. The project team also includes Large companies D (construction; Salt Lake City), VBFA (MEP; Salt Lake City), HGA (structural engineer; Salt Lake City), Great Basin (civil engineering; South Odgen, Utah); and Spectrum (lighting; Salt Lake City).
