2023 Fitness and Health Gift Guide

I’m sharing a holiday gift guide full of ideas for your health and fitness loving friends… or for yourself.

Hello friends! How are you? I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far! Yesterday I taught at a fun event on campus and we had an amazing Christmas dinner with friends.

In today’s post, I’m here to share some holiday gift ideas focused on health and wellness. I firmly believe that all you need to improve your health is a safe place to walk, well-fitting shoes, a good bottle of water, a plan, and the dedication to keep the promises you make to yourself. All of these gadgets and extras are an expense and are definitely classified as “nice to have” rather than “necessary.” At the same time, they can be super fun, provide additional insight into what works in your routine, and the PERFECT thing to give as a gift to someone you love (including yourself!!)

Here’s a roundup of some of my favorite health and wellness gift ideas at various price points:

Health and Fitness Gift Guide 2023

walking pad. I use my walking platform every day and it’s a great way to get in extra movement and steps, especially during long conference calls (when I don’t have to talk), emails, and viewing modules.

HigherDOSE Sauna Blanket either PEMF Go Mat. These are two of my all-time favorite biohacking products. (You can use the code FITNESSISTA15 for a 15% discount)

Rebounder

An Aviron rower! This is definitely an investment in a home gym, but I LOVE it. It’s so much fun to paddle and be able to stream shows from Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and Disney+. I can’t wait to see what’s new Bridgerton season on the sauna blanket and on the paddle. My review of the Aviron rower is here.

Water purifier- We use berkey and Clearly filtered. This year we will be receiving a whole house Radiant Life system!

Oura Ring. He our ring Provides excellent data on sleep and recovery. You can check out my full review here.

Air purifier! Clean air and clean water and some initial first steps for 1:1 clients.

Water bottle. My best now are Stanley (of course) and Hydroflask. the girls have lululemon water bottles and they love them.

Theragun. They are great for sore muscles!

Neck stretcher. This feels amazing on a tight neck, especially after a long day at the computer. I simply lie down on the stretcher and breathe for a few minutes.

Peloton bike or treadmill. Check out my full review of the Peloton bike here.

lululemon hoodie. You can’t go wrong with a scuba hoodie!

barefoot shoes. Once I switched to barefoot shoes last year, all my *normal* shoes feel very restrictive. I have a pair of barefoot sneakers, hiking boots, and casual white low top sneakers. P has joined the vivobarefoot train and they are his favorite shoes. My referral link gives you a 15% discount.

TO Sakara or delivery of Daily Harvest. What a way to make healthy eating SO easy. I love Sakara’s meals (I have one next week!) and you can use XOGINAH with a 20% discount. You can use FITNESSISTA for up to $40 at Daily Harvest. I drink their smoothies almost all day and I also love their soups, bowls, flatbreads and the new pasta.

Favorites from Friday 8.12

Class package to a gym. Pick a favorite studio (or a new one that’s opening) and send them some classes.

manduka mat either mat towel. This is perfect for the yogi who has been practicing on the same mat forever or who needs a new towel to switch to the rotation.

A Breville juicer. I always say I’m going to juice more often and then I keep buying them lol. It is much more cost effective to prepare juices at home and you can customize them according to your preferences.

Vuori Daily Leggings and a half zipper. Vuori is one of my favorite sports brands right now; The quality is amazing and I prefer the colors and styles to Lululemon’s current selections.

A hatch light. This was one of my Christmas gifts last year and I love it. It felt very jarring to wake up to my alarm every day, and since becoming aware of my morning cortisol levels, this has helped me tremendously. It’s calmer to wake up to soft lighting and birdsong than to a blaring alarm.

A weighted blanket. I am the person who travel with my heavy blanket ha ha ha. It makes a huge difference in the quality of my sleep.

Tell me, friends: what’s your favorite wellness tool, gadget, or gadget on your personal wish list this year?

hugs and kisses
